What a commission does not buy
It does not buy enthusiasm. I write about things after living with them, and the parts that annoyed me stay in the article. Plenty of pieces here end with the conclusion that you should move what you already own rather than buy anything, and those earn nothing at all. That is fine. A site that only ever concludes buy is not much use to anyone.
Gifted items
If something arrives at no cost, the article that mentions it says so in the first few lines. Accepting an item does not come with a promise of coverage or a positive verdict, and I do not let anyone read a draft before it goes up.
Prices
Where a price or a range is mentioned it was accurate when written and will drift. Check the retailer before deciding anything on the strength of a number here.
